Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Joyride Software LLC ("AutoRecords", "we", "us") for the AutoRecords iPhone app and the autorecords.ai website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
What AutoRecords does
AutoRecords stores maintenance records for your vehicles, uses AI to read receipts and answer questions about your records, and lets you share a history with people you choose. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not a substitute for your own judgment, your mechanic, or your vehicle's service schedule.
Your account
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
- You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
- Your @in.autorecords.ai address is for receipts and vehicle documents. Don't use it for bulk mail or anything unrelated to your records; we may rate-limit or disable it for abuse.
Your content
You own the records, photos and documents you add. You give us the permission needed to store, process and display them so the Service works, including sending receipt images and record text to our AI provider to produce the results you request. You're responsible for having the right to upload what you add, and for the accuracy of your records.
AI features
Receipt reading and answers are generated automatically and can be wrong. Low-confidence fields are flagged so you can check them, and every record can be edited. Always confirm parsed values before relying on them, especially amounts, dates and odometer readings.
Sharing
When you create a share link you choose what it includes. Anyone with the link can view that history until it expires or you revoke it. You're responsible for who you send links to. Don't share records that belong to someone else without their permission.
Plans and payment
- The free plan includes one vehicle, your first 5 records and 2 Ask questions. Search, manual entry, viewing and CSV export are never gated.
- AutoRecords Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe. Payment is charged at confirmation and the subscription renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
- Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies.
- If your subscription lapses you keep viewing and exporting every record. Filing beyond the free limits, additional vehicles and sharing require an active subscription, and existing share links pause until it's reinstated.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no attempting to access other people's data, no interfering with the Service or its security, no automated scraping, and no uploading content that is illegal or infringes someone else's rights.
Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. Either way, you can export your records first, and our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any amount greater than what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version and we'll notify you of significant changes in the app or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
